Insights from San Francisco

On Tuesday, the U.S. Consulate in Australia hosted an exclusive share-back event featuring insights from the Western Australian delegation to the AI Engineer World’s Fair in San Francisco.


Jeroen van Dalen shared key learnings from the mission and reflected on what Australia can take from the United States’ approach to AI adoption and investment. Lisa Longman facilitated a panel discussion with Associate Professor of Computer Science at The University of Western Australia Wei Liu and CTO and technology adviser Lee Goldsworthy exploring how Australia can build greater scale and strengthen collaboration with the United States.

U.S. Consul General Colleen Altstock also addressed guests on the potential for deeper Australia–United States collaboration as AI continues to transform industries and communities.
